Council improves Llwyn Fedw Gardens

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Sat 6th Jan 2007

Cardiff's Liberal Democrat controlled council is currently erecting fencing, laying out surface areas for basket ball, five-a-side football and tennis at Llwyn Fedw Gardens.

The council forced the owners of the Phoenix Development to fund these and other improvements to our local area.

Local Lib Dem councillor Michelle Michaelis said, "There have been so many large developments in our area, so it's only right that our children should benefit from better play facilities.

"The council hope to have the park open in time for the Christmas break."
