John and Ed have pledged to improve public transport.

The Lib Dems have unveiled their plans to improve transport in Wales.

Ideas include greater support for community transport, and investigating the potential for the Assembly Government to buy trains and then lease them to the operating companies, to ensure a higher standard and improve passengers' experience.

Ed Bridges said: "The current transport infrastructure is unfit for purpose. Businesses are losing money due to delays and congestion, and passengers are fed up of being left waiting at the station or crammed into carriages like sardines."

John Dixon added: "The Welsh Lib Dems want to get Wales moving and offer a real alternative to car use. That means making real investment into public transport to improve Wales' bus and rail network."
