John Dixon and Ed Bridges are backing Liberal Democrat plans to make Wales better

With the Welsh Assembly election just days away, your Focus Team is highlighting five reasons to back the Liberal Democrats on 3rd May.

After Labour's failures - from the shambolic management of the ambulance service to the misguided attempts to force through ID cards - the Lib Dems are seen as the party to put Wales back on track.

Lib Dem candidate for Cardiff North, Cllr. Ed Bridges, said: "As the election draws closer, one thing is clear - for a safer, greener, healthier Wales, the Liberal Democrats are the party of choice."

Regional candidate, John Dixon, added: "People have had enough of Labour's spin and failure. It's time for a change, and the Welsh Lib Dems are the best-placed party to improve our area. Our policies will make Wales better."

THE 5 WELSH LIBERAL DEMOCRAT PLEDGES:

· No to ID cards - money spent on more police

· 100% of Wales' energy from renewables by 2050

· Walk-in health centres

· Maximum class size of 25

· Investing in local policing
